The article “On Facebook, Biggest Threat to Your Private Data May Be You” incorporates many claims and evidence to back up those claims.  The main claim of the entire paper is the privacy on Facebook.  Another claim is sharing information that really no one cares about.  The evidence used throughout the article is examples of angry Facebook users about the changed policy and examples of posts that others do not care to read about.  The claims used in this article are claims of judgments.  The article is full of opinions based on others believes on the subject.

The audience of this article is Facebook users.  It is specifically talking to Facebook users that are affected by the new privacy policy.  The author’s purpose is to show how little we think of the privacy of our information on facebook.  The tone of the article is negative towards facebook users and their privacy.  The negative attitude portrays a mocking and sarcastic tone.  The writer’s words are typical of conversational language.  Also, it uses slang terms that are easy to understand.  The author really emphasizes on the examples used for poor privacy.  It seems to portray a very dramatic attitude.  The organization of the article is thought out very well.  It is split up into many different paragraphs.  At the beginning of the article the tone is not as dramatic or strong, but by the end it is full of strong evidence and goes out with a dramatic bang.
